The Kuang Si Falls, sometimes spelled Kuang Xi or known as Tat Kuang Si Waterfalls, are truly impressive magnificent waterfalls; cascading down from jagged limestone cliffs they tumble into turquoise pools of varying size, each flowing gently into the other as the water winds its way through the forest. You can get to the top of the falls by climbing the steep mountain along a rough but worn path. Or… take the steps on the left hand side! A few meters away there is a fenced sanctuary that houses many Lao black bears.
