Nam Khan River Valley & Tad Sae Waterfalls

Nam Khan River is a major tributary of the Mekong river, with which it joins at Luang Prabang and forms Luang Prabang peninsula together with the Mekong river. The trek begins along a trail that is at the opposite side of the Nam Khan river that will be reached by boarding a boat. You’ll stroll through different settings of nature, which includes jungles, bamboo fields, paddy fields and small streams. There are many Khmu and Hmong ethnic minorities’ remote villages in the valley. After trekking in the valley, you can also visit the Tad Sae waterfalls. You’ll revel in the beautiful nature of the water gushing along the limestone rock formations.
